Jane wakes up shortly after John and immediately checks her calendar to see where herself and the kids have to be today. She loves Fantastical for numerous reasons. The first is the Today widget found in the Notification Center. She also likes the natural language input when she wants to add a new event. Reminders integration makes it easy for her to keep track of her calendar and to do list in the same app.

While listening to the radio as she gets ready for the day she hears a new song that she likes but doesn't recognize. She opens up Shazam to discover the name of the song.

The night before her daughter mentions that she hopes Santa brings her the holiday's hottest toy Disney Frozen Elsa snow glow doll. She opens up Path Talk and asks the local Target if they have the doll in stock.

While she waits for a reply back she opens up the Photo Cookbook to determine what she was going to make for dinner. She decides on Steamed Chicken with Chile & Cilantro Butter.

She adds the ingredients that she doesn't already have to her grocery list in Grocery IQ.

Once she arrives at Target she picks up her items and checks the Cartwheel app for any special deals on the stuff she is already buying. She finds a few offers for things she has in her cart and takes advantage of some savings.
Since she signed up she has saved over $100!

When she gets home she has a little personal time before she has to pick the kids up from school and take them to soccer practice. She likes to catch up on topics of interest so she opens up Flipboard.
This is her personal magazine filled with the things that she cares about.
Once she is done reading she decides to spend a few minutes writing in her journal.
She opens up DayOne and writes about a funny thing that happened at dinner the night before.
She can attach a photo to the journal entry which she really loves.
Day One
After journaling she decides to find a new restaurant to go to for John's birthday in a couple weeks.
She opens up Yelp to look for a new restaurant to try.

When she picks the kids up from school she wants them to each spend ten minutes working in Duolingo.
Next year they are going to start learning Spanish in school and she wants them to have a head start!

They arrive at soccer practice and while the kids are playing, Jane decides to send an email out to the family inviting them to John's birthday party. She uses Mail2Group to create an email that will go out to all the family members.

Once the kids are done with practice they want to play a game on the car ride home. Jane prefers that they play games that work the mind so she allows them to play Letterpress. This is a word game that the whole family plays together.

A couple weeks later, the day of John's birthday party arrives and the whole family shows up. In her spare time she makes home made jewelry and John's brother pulls her aside and wants to purchase a necklace for Christmas. He wants to pay with his credit card so she uses the Square Register app to process the payment.

The family loves playing games so they split into two teams and fire up Heads Up.
It's a fun group game that the whole family enjoys.

Lots of photos were taken throughout the party and once everyone goes home Jane wants to quickly clean up some of the not so good photos. She uses the Flic app to quickly look through the photos and get rid of the bad ones

Once she has cleaned up the photos she wants to add some text to a few of them so she opens up Over.

To remember the party she opens up Replay chooses some photos and videos and mixes up a really cool two minute video about the party which she can then share with all who attended.
